What we're about

This is a development group for those interested in studying Witchcraft and Magick.
Training will involve immersing ourselves in both theory and practical study. Those within this study group will be expected to support and encourage each other.

The concern of this group is not with what particular tradition of Witchcraft or line of Magick you wish to follow. But with the development of the key skills needed to work effective magick such as energy cultivation and manipulation, these are the most important skills in Magick.

To work with energy one must be totally clear in what you want to achieve, to carry useful intentions is crucial to your magickal success. Without this skill, your rituals, spells magickal workings will be of no use to yourself or anyone else.

Now understand this. Magick begins with oneself and requires strict commitment and detailed self analyses, only through training and conditioning our minds in techniques such as meditation, visualisation and concentration can we re awake these forgotten abilities within.

We will be looking at specialised topics of study which will often include simple home work exercises so as you can continue your study at home keeping your mind set focused until our next study circle gathering.

The method of teaching will be hands on, practical and effective. You will be learning about the traditional skills of our ancestors. We welcome all levels of experience and aim to cover different topics of study, some of the topics we will be looking at but are not limited to are meditation, grounding, visualisation, psychic skill development, healing, circle casting, working with energy, crystals, divination and tool making such as wands, staffs, robes, charms and amulets.

Our classes are not just limited to indoor study ether but include outdoor work such as the understanding of tree lore and learning about the wild herbs we can find all around us.
