Internet of Things: from Innovative Education to Contributing Towards Achieving SDGs

The IOT-OPEN Summit coorganised by ITMO University and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology offers an opportunity to discuss the current achievements and the future steps that Europe has to take in order to support novel applications and products based on IoT. Policy makers, academics and industry representatives will be challenged to debate about current approaches, strategies and possible innovative ways to increase the IoT deployment while accelerating progress on the SDGs.

The innovative approaches to teaching IoT to university students developed within the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project IOT-OPEN EU will represent a further inspiring contribution to the debate.

The afternoon session of the IOT-OPEN Summit will be dedicated to pitches, case studies, and project ideas with a view to create new partnerships leading to joint applications for the upcoming Horizon 2020 calls:
