Inaugural Physical IOTA Foundation Beyond Blockchain Meetup in Seattle

Welcome to the first physical IOTA Foundation Beyond Blockchain Meetup in Seattle. Without any promotion, the Seattle community has grown and we look forward to building the community.

6:30 – 8:30 pm, program starts at 6:30 pm, but the lounge opens at 5 pm. Please feel free to come early and enjoy a drink before the program. We will kick off our meetup series with Sandy Cioffi, Creative Director at fearless360O, IOTA core developer Paul Handy and IOTA advisor Alexander Renz, Director of the New Mobility Lab. This first meeting will focus on providing an introduction to the IOTA tangle, the IOTA Foundation and its purpose and some of the global program activities.

We look forward to your ideas on how we can best serve and develop the Seattle IOTA community. Our first meetup will be held at the Cloud Room in Capitol Hill. Please note that the venue has a capacity of 100 people.

Walk through the walking alley under the Chophouse Row sign into the central courtyard. Look for a Cloud Room sign and enter the orange door. Walk down the hallway to the elevator and go up to the 4th floor.

Cloud Room provides a shared working environment and bar that’s enriched by the people who occupy it. The stunning, light-filled space creates an environment of opportunity for both independence and connection with other engaged people in a range of fields. From desks and meeting rooms, to the lounge and west facing deck with a fire pit, the options are appealing to those working solo, or members who are already well established and simply seek inspiring environments to work, meet and collaborate.

Drinks: Cloud Room bar features exceptional cocktails crafted by Jay Kuehner, with a focus on Vermouth, Sherry, Aperitifs, and small batch distillates. Tucked away above 11th and Pike, with an expansive west facing sun deck, cozy conversational nooks and in-house library, our bar is the perfect location for an intimate night of conversation or celebration.

The lounge opens at 5pm, please feel free to come and enjoy a drink before the program.
