Hi Everyone!

Note: there is free parking at South Coast Plaza. The parking structure next to the building does cost money

We're going to be Mixing it up this time and bringing the meetup to my homebase at Lojistic's HQ... why are we skipping a brewery this time you may ask???

Glad you asked :-) this time around we are going to be doing a bottle share!!!

[THIS IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL] So this is how a bottle share works: Everyone will bring 2 bottles of some delicious craft beer and then there will be a lottery for the redistribution of those bottles. We request that you keep the cost for the two bottles under $20 (somewhere around $10-$15 makes sense... but if you can find a great deal we won't give you a hard time). I will also be giving a prize for the top 3 beers that were hardest to come by, that still fit in the price range.

Once the Bottle Share is over we are going to have an amazing Presentation by: Chasen Le Hara who will be talking about an amazing Javascript Framework called Donejs. (https://donejs.com/ (https://donejs.com/))) and lessons that were learned from consulting for 8+ years that lead to its creation.

UPDATE: I just got word that Sig Narváez, Sr. Solutions Architect @ MongoDB has agreed to give our second speech of the night. Sig Will be joined by the MongoDB User Group (http://www.meetup.com/Orange-County-MongoDB-User-Group/ ) or MUG OC. He will be talking about MongoDB 3.2 “Document Validation” which lets you enforce schema checking down into the database. Come learn what it does (and what it doesn’t) and how to make use of it.

Really pumped for this talk! Donejs has be making a lot of waves recently. I heard about them first on Javascript Jabber.

Quick note: Meetup is @ 6pm... but Open entrance to the office ends @ 7pm... so please make sure to be timely or else the Irvine company might lock you out.

A few more details soon to follow.
