"The Perfect Deck": Investor Pitching & Fundraising Best Practices

Details

Not another startup event about fundraising, right?!?!?! Well we feel you so we decided to invite some of the top VCs and ask them all the questions you would ask them if you had the chance. Not boring presentations, just fireside chat with 3 VCs and we are not taking a no for an answer.

Some of the questions we will be asking them are:

  • What are the mandatory/optional components of a deck
  • Good/bad examples
  • Most common errors
  • How competitive landscape should be mapped
  • Market size what is considered big/small?
  • Traction:
-> What are the most common KPis monitored (CAC, LTV, Selling Cycles, Churn e.t.c. ?),
-> How important are they, and how they should evolve over time
-> What happens when there is not traction yet?
  • Is a spreadsheet mandatory? What should be the form of it? What is an acceptable projected growth? In what metrics should be counted (revenues, profits, users, project pipeline e.t.c.)
  • How are all the previous related to stages, funding amounts and valuations.

Our Speakers are experienced investors and very early drivers of the local startup ecosystems namely:

Aristos Doxiadis, Partner at "Big Pi" Venture Capital
George Dimopoulos, Partner at "Venture Friends" Venture Capital
Dimitris Kalavros, Partner at "Velocity.Partners" Venture Capital

I am sure you will have some more specific questions regarding your own startups / projects so feel free to join us on Wednesday, June 13th at 6.30pm at IQbility events (Unisystems, Alexandrou Pantou 19-23, Kallithea).

See you there!
