Agile with Ron Jeffries and Chet Hendrickson

Details
We are excited to have Ron Jeffries and Chet Hendrickson at the Illinois Regional Agile Users Group! Ron, one of the founders of Extreme Programming (XP) and one of the original authors of the Agile Manifesto, and Chet, co-author of Extreme Programming Installed.
Join us for an evening with Ron and Chet talking about Agile, Extreme Programming and the industry today.
Ask them about Acceptance Testing, Quality, or engineering improvements for Agile spaces. This is a rare opportunity to get these two guys in our own backyard. We are looking forward to the next great year through 2012. This is an opportunity to profoundly get back in to business for the fall of 2011. Welcome back, and we'll see you there.
Biography:
Ron Jeffries is one of the 3 founders of the Extreme Programming (XP) software development methodology circa 1996, along with Kent Beck and Ward Cunningham. He was from 1996, an XP coach on the Chrysler Comprehensive Compensation System project, which was where XP was invented. He is an author of Extreme Programming Installed, the second book published about XP. He has also written Extreme Programming Adventures in C#. He is one of the 17 original signatories of the Agile Manifesto.
Chet Hendrickson was at Extreme Programming’s ground zero, the Chrysler Comprehensive Compensation (C3) system. As a developer on the pre-XP C3, Chet saw how poor communication, inadequate testing, and an overly complex design can doom a development effort. He is an author of Extreme Programming Installed. The book consists of a collection of essays, presented in the order the practices would actually be implemented during a project. Chet is a consultant, coach, and Certified Scrum Trainer.
Avantis dinner will be provided, sponsored by TEKsystems!
