Let's hike the Ice Age Trail together! has been our description since 2016 and has brought us tremendous success.
While hiking will always be a core part of our DNA, and probably account for 75% of our events, we are adding new outdoor events to our portfolio and welcome individuals to join us on our adventures!
We take pride in that we are a bunch of really nice, inclusive people from Illinois and Wisconsin- no drama allowed.
As we get to know each other we can plan some overnight backpacking/camping hikes, snowshoeing events, kayaking/hiking trips, bicycle tours, and more.

Holy Hill Segment - Mammoth Hike Challenge
Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill, 1525 Carmel Road, Hurbetus, WI, USCome join us for a gorgeous fall hike on the Holy Hill Segment of the Ice Age Trail! Located in the Kettle Moraine, the Holy Hill Segment loops around the historic and scenic Holy Hill, which is known for its stunning basilica and panoramic views. This segment is approximately 6.9 miles and is considered a moderate to challenging hike due to its hilly terrain and varying conditions. Hikers can expect a mixture of wooded areas, prairies, and some steep climbs. The trail also features glacial formations such as kames and kettles. The Holy Hill segment of the Ice Age Trail is a beautiful destination for hikers looking to experience Wisconsin's natural beauty and geological history, especially during the fall when the maple trees display vibrant colors.

Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill
1525 Carmel Road
Hubertus, Wisconsin 53033We will meet in the gravel parking area at the bottom of the hill. There is ample parking here. At 9am we will hop into a few cars and shuttle to Glassgo Road, where we will park along the roadside and start our hike. Shuttle volunteers appreciated! Please arrive promptly or you may miss the shuttle to the start of the hike. We will hike from Glassgo Road to the start of the Holy Hill segment on Donegal Road and then walk back along the road to the Holy Hill Shrine parking lot. After the hike, folks can check out the Holy Hill Shrine & Basilica, climb the scenic tower, eat at the cafe, and/or head home.
