What we’re about
Thanks to the growing community, we can debate big ideas with people all over the world... Simultaneously!!
Join our global community of minds and share with people in different countries and from all backgrounds thorough our weekly online debates. Imagine debating with people in 10 different countries at the same time... How awesome is that?
This is a safe, inclusive and respectful space designed to talk to other humans, learn from one another and implement our ideas, in all relevant aspects of life.
We will discuss both “big” and “small” ideas, talking about the past, present, and future, the ideal world and our everyday reality.
Each Meetup will have a main focus subject, with a wide margin to explore other interesting topics.
Our main rule:
“I do not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
Some subjects we’ll explore:
Human wellbeing and psychology Relationships and family Society, economics and politics Lifestyles, cultures and languages Technology and futurism Philosophy, religions and ideologies The “why” and “what for” of life
And many more, that we’ll decide on together…
Welcome to the global community of Ideas Exchange!

We live in an age of borderless communication and global mobility—but also of rising walls, mass deportations, and militarized enforcement. In the name of national security, countries are detaining families, deploying troops to cities, and bypassing legal protections. Meanwhile, others raise their voices for due process, human dignity, and international solidarity. The tension between protecting borders and protecting people has never felt so urgent.
Some argue that the safety of a nation must come first—even if that means rapid expulsions and harsh deterrents. Others insist that justice must be blind to nationality, and that human rights are non-negotiable, even in times of political pressure and crisis. What kind of society are we building when justice and security are framed as opposing forces?
We’ll gather in front of our screens, coffee or tea in hand, and connect with fellow human beings equally driven to make sense of the crossroads we find ourselves in.
Some questions we’ll explore:- Are deportations a matter of justice or just a show of force?
- Should immigration policy be guided more by economic needs, or moral values?
- How much power should governments have to override legal protections in the name of national security?
- Why are immigration and crime so often conflated in public perception?
- What role does race, class, and media framing play in how we talk about deportation?
- Is it possible to have both secure borders and just treatment of migrants?
- And so much more!
By the end of this conversation, we’ll have shared experiences and insights across borders—on how immigration and deportation reflect our values, our fears, and our hopes for a just society.

In a world where the guardrails of global stability seem to be crumbling, the risks of systemic conflict are more palpable than ever. From Ukraine’s grinding war to Iran’s escalating regional provocations, the foundations of the post-Cold War order are being shaken.
"World War III?: Ukraine, Iran, and the Breakdown of Global Order" invites you to take part in a global virtual discussion on whether we are witnessing the early tremors of a broader war—or the messy reordering of international power.
As Russia entrenches its presence in eastern Ukraine and NATO’s resolve begins to splinter under internal tensions and political fatigue, many ask: How long can the West hold its line? Meanwhile, Iran’s recent actions—its nuclear brinkmanship, the widening proxy network from Lebanon to Yemen, and its shadow war with Israel—raise the specter of direct regional confrontation, with global consequences.
The United States, caught between election-year politics and strategic overextension, appears less willing to act as the world’s enforcer. China, opportunistically quiet, positions itself as a potential alternative hegemon, while the Global South grows increasingly impatient with a fractured West.
Amid this turbulence, we must ask: Is a third world war truly unthinkable, or are we inching toward it without realizing?
Key Topics
· The New Axis of Challenge: Russia, Iran, and Beyond
How do the actions of authoritarian powers challenge Western dominance? Are we seeing the formation of a new anti-Western bloc?
· Fracturing Western Unity over Ukraine
How sustainable is NATO support for Ukraine as war fatigue grows? What are the implications if Western commitment erodes?
· Iran’s Gambit: Regional Proxy Wars and Global Repercussions
What are the stakes of Iran’s growing assertiveness across the Middle East? Could a regional war drag in global powers?
· Is the U.S. Still the World’s Policeman?
As America hesitates on the world stage, is it ceding space to rivals—or simply adapting to a multipolar reality?
· Toward a New Global Order—or Global Chaos?
Are today’s crises symptoms of a world rebalancing—or signs of an irreversible breakdown in order?
Whether you're a policy wonk, a global affairs enthusiast, or just someone trying to make sense of the headlines, this debate is your chance to join a truly international, grassroots conversation.
