Spiritual Reflections: Food for the Soul

Common Space

Please join a diverse community of area residents every Sunday for a “spiritual reflections.” This is a gathering potentially consisting of prayer, conversation, reflection, meditation, music, inspirational readings, poetry or exploring the spiritual dimension of human existence. We say “potentially” because these gatherings are meant to be very inclusive and take on a creative element, depending on the host, who could come from any (really, ANY!) religious, spiritual or cultural background – and could be YOU. This is a chance to take inspiration from the wisdom of the ages and sages, and recognize our unity as well as our diversity. These gatherings are informed by the worldwide experience of the Baha’i community, where the vision is not just to cultivate personal inspiration, but also to foster a culture of service to the community and nurture wider and wider circles of friendship and community – across religious, racial, language, economic and other barriers. We hope you will join us for this experience of building spiritual life and community cohesion. “So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth.” (From the Baha’i writings)
