Have you ever been to a Toastmasters club before?

No, but I worked with Roberta Perry at Fox, who has been super instrumental in the organization.

Are you currently a member of any Toastmasters clubs?

Do you have any experience performing Improv?

slightly, I started a group in LA on Theatre Sports, from the work of Keith Johnstone. I graduated UCLA with a degree in theatre, was in the Odyssey Theatre during the 70's, the Los Angeles Mask Theatre, and performed piano and accordian for many years in an all woman's ragtime band called The New Miss Alice Stone Ladies Society Orchestra, aka Alice Stone.....

Tell us a little about yourself. Do you have any specific goals related to public speaking, developing leadership skills, and/or improv?

I work like a mad-woman, creating creative educational events for children, their parents, and their teachers; I am also personally writing memoir these days, focusing on days of my teens, 20's and 30's. I speak in front of many groups normally, but I would like to learn to take this out of the "safe" territory of expectation.

I'm Tery, I work in Culver City as Director of the Gifted and Talented Division of STAR Education, a non profit corporation. My background is in theatre and music, with a specialty in mask work.
