• What we'll do
Each session will start with visualization, breathing and stretching.
We will then play a variety of improvisation games to bring out clarity, spontaneity, a sense of joy and well being in the creative process. We will work with giving/receiving exercises, accepting offers, as well as explore energy work and exercises which will enable us to continue to practice between sessions. The games and exercises are geared to help us shed our inhibitions, bring in more fun, spontaneity and creativity in our day to day life so we can reach higher to our full potential; being fully alive.
• What to bring
o Please bring utmost respect for other's ideas, an ability to accept all offers, and to go with the flow of any idea presented, whether or not it makes sense to you, and no matter how silly it appears.
o Please also bring a bottle of water.
o Wear comfortable clothing.
In the winter, I strongly recommend snow pants and gloves to stay comfortable. Remember how you loved to suit up to play outside in the snow as a child? Bring that child with you!
o And why not bring a friend or two?
• Important to know
o Every member should feel safe, respected, and valued at all times.
o Size is limited to 20. RSVP early to guarantee a spot. If you cannot make it, be sure to change your RSVP early to allow other members to join in.
o Ideal number of people is 6-12, but we can also improvise.
o Please check back 24 hours prior to the event for cancellations.
o Please do not RSVP if you do not plan to be there. We are real people looking to participate with other real people.
