This group is dedicated to friendly mature singles who want to meet quality people right here in the neighborhood for friendship or romance. The Yin to the Yang so to speak.
How many times have you been at home watching TV thinking "I wish I had someone I can call right now and do something fun?" Well this is the group for you! How many of you are looking for romance or friends that have similar interests as you? Flea markets, dancing, watching sports, fitness events, game nights, seeing a play/movie, volunteering, festivals, live bands, seasonal events, dinner anyone?
How many of you are sick of going through the holidays alone ... again?
This group is a friendly bunch so if it is your first time or you have been with us since the beginning you will be greeted and seated among friends who are at the event for the same reason you are. Stop letting life go by and come on out to meet new friends, maybe more than a friend and/or just have some fun.
A CURRENT picture of yourself is required to join this group it used for no other reason but to identify you at events. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Join us at Anyway's Pub, 304 W. Army Trail Rd., Bloomingdale. It is a free standing building in a strip mall on the SW corner of Army Trail and Schmale. Separate checks will be available. Separate checks will take more time. Please be courteous to your server.
GUESTS: If you want to bring a guest, please send me a message and tell me the first name of your guest. I will update your RSVP if space is available. First names are needed since I will be pre-printing name tags.
WAITING LISTS: Please do not put your name on a waiting list if you are not planning on attending. Sometimes there are late cancellations. I understand that at some point you may want to make alternate plans. If so, please change your RSVP to "Not Going". This allows others behind you on the list to be cleared. If anyone on the waiting list is cleared and does not attend, that person will be marked as a no-show.
NO-SHOWS AND LATE CANCELLATIONS. I do record all no-shows and late cancellations. I report all no-shows to Meetup.com and to this group’s Organizer. No-shows may be banned from all future events that I host. The Organizer might remove repeat offenders from this group. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event may be considered as no-shows.
Sometimes there are legitimate reasons for late cancellations. This could include illness, family emergencies, unexpected work requirements, car problems, etc. If you have a good reason for cancelling late, please send me a message explaining the reason and I may excuse you. This will be determined on a case by case basis. Messages or comments merely stating something like "Sorry. Something came up." or "Can't make it. Sorry." are not sufficient. If you have a history of no-shows or late cancellations, this will be taken into consideration.
