Evening Seminar and Networking with Amy Vodarek, MScN - UNLEASH YOUR BRILLIANCE: Releasing The Grip of NOT GOOD ENOUGH - Hiding behind a story of not good enough can hold you back from fulfilling your career and life potential. Women can feel trapped in a story of not good enough, bright enough, pretty enough, fit enough to succeed, and this belief limits them from taking action to realize their potential. During the 3.5 years, Amy and co-author Anne Day worked on the Good Enough book talking with over 150 women in interviews and focus groups and, hearing from an additional 200 women in a comprehensive survey. The research revealed there is no one cause for feeling not good enough; instead, there is a multitude of life experiences that shape our sense of not enough. Interestingly, women identified the main culprit is themselves; women shared they were their harshest critic and judge. In our misguided aim for perfection, we do too much, strive too hard and end up overwhelmed, exhausted and feeling unfulfilled. This session will guide women to: Learn how the experience of feeling like an imposter, the inner critic and striving for perfection entangle women if a story of not good enough Identify why it holds us back in our business growth and fulfillment Begin to identify self-limiting habits getting in the way of taking powerful actions, new opportunities and feeling confident Identifying strategies and sketch out next possible actions to quiet the not good enough story and amplify unique strengths, unique genius and unleash your brilliance Amy Vodarek Bio Amy is a women’s work-life success coach, consultant and facilitator who is on a mission engage leaders and teams to create workplaces where everyone thrives. She’s committed to the advancement and success of women leading in their own business and in organizations. She’s the co-author of the book Good Enough. Embrace who you are. Unleash your brilliance exploring the often-hidden barriers that women leaders and business owners face in fulfilling their potential. She holds an MScN from McMaster University and coaching certifications from Newfield Network, The Institute for Generative Leadership, Genuine Contact and, is certified in The Leadership Circle. She’s the founder of Insight Edge, a leadership development company, a program coach for Newfield Asia Coach Training Program, an Associate Consultant with Altus Growth Partners and Courage Group International. She is on faculty at McMaster University, teaching leadership to healthcare professionals.
