What we're about

Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gulf at sunset, the cool breeze of the ocean, and the relaxing sounds of waves around you. This is about as luxurious as running gets! All ages and running abilities are welcome!

There is no cost to run with us, we run anywhere from 2-8 miles at a pace from 7 - 12 minutes/mile every Wednesday nights at 6:30pm - 7:30pm.

Location: Clever Training Store (right next to Keegans Seafood Grille)

During the summer we run on the beach either loops or a straight out and back depending on wind and/or how many new runners we have and their level. During the winter we mainly run on the road heading to Belleair, over the bridge and back.

We also have other fitness events such as long runs, swimming, cycling and triathlon's. Our group is always looking for opportunities to have more fun.

After the run most members go out to a local bar for dinner and drinks, some just meet us there. We also run in several local races from 5K to marathons and meet some weekends for more fun. It's a great group so come out and join us.

Weekly Fun Mock Triathlon's Bike, Run & Swim @ 7:30am 'ish

Crabby Bill's Indian Rocks

NEW REGULAR START TIME - 7:30AM! Fun Triathlon's, join us for 1, 2 or all 3 events. Do as much or as little as you want at a nice easy pace. We wait for everyone to get back before we start the next leg. The bike portion heads north along Gulf Blvd to Clearwater for the 3 bridge loop, around 15 to 21 miles depending on # bridges and other options you decide to ride. This is not a race pace group, expect the lead pack to be riding around 18 - 22 mph and others around 15 mph, just turn around when you want. The run portion will head South from Crabby's for a 3 - 4 mile run, usually we run on the beach if it's flat and packed hard sand. We will then swim in the ocean, anywhere from half to one mile, sometimes we jog into the wind and just swim one way with the current. Several wear wet suits during the winter, others don't. We meet in the parking lot at Crabby Bill's around 7:30 am, leaving for the bike ride around 7:45. Plan to be back from the bike ride by 9:00 to leave for the run at 9:10. The swim portion will begin around 10:00, if you don't want to swim relax on the beach or enjoy a walk. As usual, a discounted breakfast at Crabby's around 10:45 am.

PANERA BREAD

We meet at the east side of Belleair Bridge, at the shopping center where Panera Bread is located. Jiri leads us in speed work consisting of fast paced increment runs up and down the bridge. It's a good workout if you are trying to pick up your race pace - all levels and speeds are welcome. Come check it out!

Indian Rocks Beach Wed Run 6:30 PM

Crabby Bill's Indian Rocks

Join us for a weekly Wednesday evening run/walk, meeting at the Crabby Bill's Banquet Hall at 6:30 pm. We run on the dedicated pedestrian paved path south down Gulf Blvd. Run from 1 mile to 5 miles. We have male and female runners who run between 1 to 5 miles at a 8 to 12 min/mile pace. Run with the group or on your own. We also have several walkers with us as well. All levels and ages are welcome and we'll find someone for you to run with. It’s a fun way to exercise, make new friends, and enjoy the best of the Gulf. After the run we go to a local bar for dinner & drinks. It's a friendly group, not too competitive yet enjoy having fun.
