What we’re about
We are a group of Desis (20yrs-35yrs age) looking to try new things around the city. From trying new places for lunch to Karoake nights, we do it all. Anyone can be an organizer and create new events for this group! <br>Things to note: <br>We encourage people to follow the age limit seriously. <br>We charge $1 per person every meetup to contribute towards the monthly fee. This is a great place to make new friends especially for people new in town!!

See all- Ha Ling Peak Summit Hike..!!Ha-Ling Peak, Kananaskis, AB
Let's go to one of the most scenic hikes to view the Rocky mountains called "Ha Ling". The hike will take about 4 hours to complete.
After the hike we can visit a nearby coffee shop for snacks/drinks.
Please note that it's a difficult hike. So, please bring at least 4L of water for the hike.
Please reach the parking lot by 8:45 am. So we can head to the trail by 9 am.
To get there, the general location is in Kananaskis, Alberta. Drive west on Highway 742 out of Canmore, and the parking area will be on your right. A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to park.
From Calgary, the drive will almost take 1 hour 10 minutes with clear traffic & depending which area in Calgary you reside.Carpool: If you are driving, please leave a comment. The usual carpool fees per seat is 25 bucks.
Here are some things to bring for the trip:- Dress for the weather
- Wear proper hiking shoes
- Bring water, snacks, tylenol, tissues etc...
- Snacks
- Maybe hand warmers
- Highly recommend bringing a backpack for your things.
