What we're about

This is a group primarily for members of Indie Hackers (https://www.indiehackers.com/) living in (or visiting) Wellington who wish to meet, share ideas and discuss their projects in a fun, friendly and social environment — although anyone with an interest in startups/indie hacking is more than welcome to attend!

Here's a blurb about the Indie Hacker community that I borrowed from this Product Hunt post (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/indie-hackers-community):

"We're a few thousand founders and developers helping each other start profitable online businesses. The community is a friendly place to come share our experiences and projects, get valuable feedback, swap tips, and lean on each other for support."

Indie Hackers is inclusive and free to join, so if you're not a member, you should go ahead and sign up! (https://www.indiehackers.com/)

The aim of this meetup is to allow us to connect, share ideas and lessons and ultimately help one another grow.

This group is open to anyone, regardless of skills or experience (or anything else).

Needless to say, we have a zero tolerance for any 'meanies', or any nasty behaviour in general!

Positive vibes only — of course, constructive criticism and feedback are encouraged when delivered in a polite and friendly way — just remember the golden rule: don't be an asshole.

So, come along for a fun, friendly and social way to meet like-minded individuals and grow your skills and projects.
