Mas runs Translate Culture, where he helps brands create data and culturally informed marketing campaigns.

Mas has previously co-founded two entertainment platforms Mixtape Madness & BWNG TV, where he used data to help inner city artists and actors break into music and TV industry.

In this talk Mas shares how his side-projects have gone on to generate £1m in revenue - with no code; by focusing on solving real people problems rather than trying to lead with a software solution.

Mas also shares why consulting is a great avenue for discovering and validating real market problems, which software can later help solve.

Whilst recovering from illness Johnny spent a lot of time at home and online, constantly looking for ways to learn and connect with people without needing to travel. Solving this problem eventually led to Hopin, but not without many iterations on the way.

Hopin is the first all-in-one live online events platform where attendees can learn, interact, and connect with people from anywhere in the world. Their private beta customers range from multinational corporations to small non-profit communities - with a 2500+ waitlist of organizers.

Johnny will share with us how he started with a purpose - to genuinely create real connection online - and iterated until he solved a real customer problem.
