Salvador Sanchez Ceren, Terror Supporter; Welcomed to Freeport by Mayor Hardwick and Nassau County Legislator Francis X Becker.

Police, wearing heavy protection were out in force at a welcoming event for Salvado Sanchez Ceren in Freeport. Ceren was visiting Freeport on August 6th to celebrate "Salvadorian-American Day." He was welcomed with much ceremony by Freeport Mayor Hardwick, and Nassau County Legislator Francis Becker

Francis Becker Welcoming Salvador Sanchez Ceren

Who Is Salvador Sanchez Ceren?
Mr. Ceren is a member of a radical political party called the FMLN. He is also a big fan of the September 11th Attacks. Not of the heroes who sacrificed themselves to save lives. No, Ceren is a fan of the ones who attacked and murdered innocent American Citizens.

California Congressman Dana Rohrabacher is quoted as saying about Ceren:
"Four days after 9/11, the FMLN had a march in their capital city to celebrate the 9/11 attack by Al-Qaeda and to burn the American flag. The leader of that march was Salvador Sanchez Ceren, who today is the FMLN's candidate for El Salvadoran Vice President."
Congressman Rohrabacher further stated...
" That [Ceren], in a pro-Al Qaeda rally where the U.S. flag was burned, had taken place immediately after September 11, 2001. The U.S. Embassy in El Salvador was forced to condemn the written public statements related to the September 11th attacks that were issued by the FMLN and blamed the U.S. for causing itself to be attacked because of its international policies."

Naturally, many Freeport residents expressed outrage over Mr. Ceren's presence at this ceremony. Those of Salvadorian descent escaped their civil war, which didn't end until early 1990's. Many of them were also likely victims of the FMLN.

Freeport Police stand on alert In full tactical gear

So, the questions that beg to be asked are:

What was Fran Becker thinking when he came out to officially welcome an America-hating, terrorist-supporter? Is he so inept that he didn't even bother to check the background of a terrorist before welcoming him at an official ceremony with open arms?

Why is he pictured at an event gushing over a man who hates us, a man who wants to kill us, a man who wants to destroy our American way of life?

And lastly, why would anyone want to elect Fran Becker to the powerful position of Congressman when he shows such poor judgement and lack of integrity??

I am asking our members to call Becker's office or send him a letter today. Tell him that supporting terrorists is a bad idea and the wrong thing to do. Suggest strongly that he step aside and allow Frank Scaturro, the true Conservative to run on the Republican line in November. Tell him that the job of a Congressman is way out of his league, especially when he can barely handle that of a Legislator effectively.
