Our purpose is to resist the unpatriotic and offensive policies and programs of Donald Trump, and to work toward the election of representatives who reflect our values to Congress and local offices.

Peace and Pollo On The Border

Hosted by Indivisible OC 48, Indivisible OC 46, Together We Will, Chicken Don n these times of hate and violence against migrant asylum seekers at US border, detention centers and prison camps – we must respond to the fear with, joy, hope and power. Join us July 21st 2019 in Tijuana, Mexico for our Peace and Pollo event for a day of action, creative expression and care. We will be meeting at the Coffee Bean at Las Americas Premium Outlets, and crossing the US -Mexico border on foot to join Activate Labs at Espacio Migrante for their #MascarasMigrante project with migrant children. (In addition, SoCal based Haitian Bridge Alliance will facilitate humanitarian delivery for shelters of Tijuana) Then in the early afternoon together we will head to the border wall at the Bi-National Friendship Park Garden to bring joy and hope. We will have a variety of activities for you to participate in. Activate Labs will be leading a mural touch up painting project, the Border Church will be holding their weekly serves and Realmente Communidad will be planting and gardening in the guerilla garden on the border. We will be bringing Chicken Don to see the border and Garden since Trump has yet to come. Please bring donations you can carry across the border: Shoes, children’s clothes, shoes, diapers, toiletries, sleeping bags, tents, toys, food, paper towels, towels, feminine products, first aid kids, maternity clothes, baby food and products, When re-entering the United States, U.S. citizens are required to show passport, U.S. passport card, Trusted Traveler Program card (NEXUS, SENTRI, Global Entry or FAST) or an Enhanced Driver's License (aka Real ID).
