URGENT!!! Secretary of Interior coming to Santa Barbara Monday!

This may be our first test of peaceful protest. It is of utmost importance that we do not engage with Trump supporters. Our protest is aimed at Zinke, not the SB Tea Partiers. Silence is the only response we encourage.]

Ryan Zinke, Trump's new Secretary of Interior is coming to State Street THIS MONDAY to speak. Ryan and Trump are working to open up our channel to new OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING, not to mention selling off of America's national parks and public lands, getting rid of the federal endangered species act, etc.

We can't let Zinke come to Santa Barbara, with our history of oil spills, without making a statement of opposition. So let's resist! We will meet on the public sidewalk in front of the Reagan Ranch Center (also known as Young America's Foundation). Bring signs - No offshore drilling! No offshore oil! Keep public lands public! Protect endangered species! No more oil spills!
