When I was first getting into tennis as an adult I didn't know of all the options that were available for me to play tennis. As for tennis during the winter and rainy spring months, I thought indoor tennis was out of the question. I didn't know that you didn't have to join a club to be able to participate in any of the tennis clinics. Back when smoke signals was the form of communication from one location to another, I didn't know of all the great opportunities to play tennis at various locations. MEETUP is a great way for tennis players of all abilities to find opportunities to play. There are great MEETUP clubs on this platform.

I was the Director of Adult Tennis at The Four Seasons Tennis club from 2009 until it was sold to a developer and torn down. I created an exciting and innovative tennis program for all levels of abilities. It's called RJ TENNIS BOOT CAMP®. It's no nonsense tennis. Hit tons of tennis balls and play competitive and challenging simulated match like drills and games. Again, it's for beginners to the 5.0 players. Each week hundreds of adults participate at indoor facilities throughout the area: McLean Racquet and Health Club, Burke Racquet and Swim Club and The Renaissance. Membership is not required to participate in any of the drop in clinics. There are clinic fees to participate in all of the RJT clinics. When the weather breaks and we can play comfortably outside, then we are at various outdoor facilities throughout northern Virginia.

If you have been looking for a place to play some invigorating tennis and to work on growing your tennis game or if you're just looking to play some indoor tennis to get you through the winter months, may I encourage you to give the RJ TENNIS BOOT CAMP® adult tennis program a try. I have tennis classes for beginners all the way to 5.0.

I was coaching some RJT classes today. I was having a fantastic time coaching the group. From the first ball struck in the warm up at the beginning of class to the last point played at the end of class the energy was alive and palpable. At the end of class one of the clients came up to me and said, "I have never done any of your classes before even though I have known they have been available to me for years. Now that I have done my first RJ TENNIS BOOT CAMP class I completely understand why your program is so outrageously popular. This was so much fun!"

If you have never done the RJT class before or if it has been sometime since you have done the class, please ask to get onto the RJT emailing list so that you can keep up to date with the schedule of classes. And when your schedule allows, please email me to see if there is availability for you to drop in.
