Serve Dinner at Wheeler Mission (6-8 needed)

Details
NOTE: This will be repeated on the LAST Tuesday evening of every month. It starts at 4:30pm but it's good to get there early to find parking, which can be a challenge if you're late.
This is the same dinner we did the FIRST time with Wheeler (in February), NOT the one we did in March. We will be way more busy and you can plan to be there the full time. I think they typically do 200-300 dinners nightly at this location.
We will be serving dinner to the Wheeler Mission Men's Shelter (note the location, as they have multiple buildings). You may be preparing or serving food, and/or chatting with the men who are visiting the shelter.
Important notes:
o ADDRESS: 520 East Market Street, 46204 near the corner of Market and East Streets. Their phone number is 317.687.6795. It is a grey building located on the north side of Market Street.
o PARKING: Free parking is available in the small lot located to the west of Shelter for Men, located on the northeast corner of Market and East Streets. If needed, metered parking is also available on Market and East Streets, generally $1.50 is 1 hour of parking. Parking is NOT available in the Modern Photo lot east of building – please do not park there for cars will be towed!
o SIGN IN and OUT: Enter the Center through the doors that are on Market Street. These doors are locked at all times, but someone is generally near them to let you in. If you are not able to enter through this set of doors, please ring the doorbell or walk around to the back end of the building (walk towards the east then around) and enter in the back door. Let them know you are there to volunteer with meal service. Please sign in and out on the volunteer sheets – you may have to ask for them. Staff will direct you where to go from there!
o DRESS CODE: Dress modestly. This is common sense, people. If their staff think your clothing is inappropriate, they can ask you to change (or leave). Don't wear anything tight, short, or revealing.
o PHOTOS/MONEY/KIDS: Please do not take any photos of the men. Photos of people within our group and/or the building are fine. And please do not give out any money or gifts. If you are asked for money, you are supposed to report it to a staff person. Kids are welcome as long as they are 10+ and accompanied by a parents/guardian.
