A large retailer moved revenue generating apps under a newly appointed CDO to Amazon Web Services - using both EC2 and Lambda Serverless functions. The migration required a retooling of the legacy monitoring environment to include support for the latest cloud technologies, low latency reporting/alerting, the ability to pickup ephemeral components, and support for tremendous bursts in compute.

Customer needed a real-time streaming Monitoring & operational intelligence platform that was able to meet requirements with four data collection technologies pushing metrics to an analytics/alerting engine.
