Details
It's not fancy, but the tacos, corn on the cob, and drinks at this hole-in-the-wall grocery store are STELLAR. We'll meet in the soccer park, take the Monon to the Cultural Trail to the Canal, to the Zoo, to Morris St. to Oliver Ave and order food at Taqueria Guanajuato. Bring cash and plan to get your food to go. We'll ride back over to the zoo to sit at the picnic tables or in the grass.
While this is a bronze ride, we're going to be riding in some heavily populated areas. If this is your first time out, this may not be the ride for you.
WHERE WE ARE EATING:Taqueria Gaunajuato, 1269 Oliver Avenue
ROUTE LENGTH: about 10 miles
SPEED: 12 - 14 mph
BIKE REQUIRED: any bike will do, but since we'll be on some city streets, you may be more comfortable on a MTB or hybrid
OTHER REQUIRED ITEMS : helmet, bike lock (we will not be able to see the bikes from inside) and money for lunch.
