What we're about
The Inland Empire Museum of Art is the newest art museum in the Inland Empire. This group is for everyone that is passionate about becoming involved: students, teachers, professionals, art enthusiasts, and community members that want to learn more.
The goal of the Inland Empire Museum of Art is to foster and to promote the study, appreciation and understanding of art through exhibits, education and publications in the Inland Empire.
IEMA's mission is to be a key global agent for creating opportunities in the arts for residents throughout the Inland Empire and beyond. With strong programs and exhibits our aim is to provide an outlet for art. IEMA's goal is also to offer studio art classes and a variety of educational outreach programs to schools throughout the community. Art is vital to the education of the whole person. Plato believed that music and art form the “basic” curriculum – not a frill or an extracurricular activity. It is a fact that students with a foundation in music, theatre or art education score higher on standardized tests than those who have never been exposed to the arts. IEMA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization determined to meet these goals.
