Hi everyone,
We are bringing our four related Meetup communities together into one new home:
Boston Innovation in Health and Medicine

This Meetup group will close on September 20, 2026. If you would like to continue receiving updates about future events, please join the new group before then.
Over the years, these four communities have grown to represent roughly 4,000 Meetup memberships in the Boston area, but they have been spread across separate groups:

Innovation in Digital Health, MedTech & Life Sciences
Visionary Series: Shaping the Future of MedTech
Interdisciplinary Careers in BioPharma Medicine & Healthcare
Boston Quantitative & Systems Pharmacology

We have already renamed the former Boston Quantitative & Systems Pharmacology group as Boston Innovation in Health and Medicine, and it will now serve as the home for the combined community.
These communities have always had a lot in common. Many of our events, members, speakers, and conversations naturally cross between engineering, medicine, BioPharma, MedTech, digital health, AI, modeling & simulation, and interdisciplinary careers.
Rather than continuing to maintain these as separate Meetup groups, we believe it makes more sense to bring everyone together in one place.
We will continue organizing the same kinds of thoughtful and engaging events that brought you to these groups in the first place, while creating more opportunities for cross-pollination between people with different backgrounds, experiences, disciplines, and expertise.
Bringing the communities together will also make it easier for members to discover and participate in events without having to join multiple Meetup groups. At the same time, it will help us streamline event organization, keep costs manageable, and make the community more sustainable for the long term.
