Do you love Oprah? Have you listened to or watched her "SuperSoul Conversations" and heard her interview a writer or thinker and wanted to read their works? Are you interested in getting through books listed on Oprah's Book Club? Are you interested in engaging in discussions about life, relationships, self-improvement? Or are you just looking for an excuse to meet women in the area and make new friends? This is the group for you!
Awaken, discover and connect to the deeper meaning of the world around you with Oprah's podcast. Hear Oprah’s personal selection of her interviews with thought-leaders, best-selling authors, spiritual luminaries, as well as health and wellness experts. All designed to light you up, guide you through life’s big questions and help bring you one step closer to your best self.
She interviews visionaries like Tony Robbins, Arianna Huffington, and Shonda Rhimes to "share their lessons in finding purpose through mindfulness and intention," world renowned authors and teachers like Eckhart Tolle, Thich Nhat Hahn, Marianne Williamson and Wayne Dyer to "explain our complex relationship with the ego and the healing powers of love and connection," and award-winning and bestselling writers like Cheryl Strayed, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Elizabeth Lesser to "explore the beauty of forgiveness and spirituality." I will compile a starter list of books we can vote on each month and members can add to the list at the end of each meeting.
