What we're about

There is SO much more to publishing than posting your book on Amazon.com!

Join Professional Author Consultant, Cathy Davis as she interviews experts from around the country who help authors look good, get noticed, and make a difference in the world.

Learn how to NOT LOOK self-published.
A proven resource for aspiring non-fiction authors to learn about publishing, Cathy and her team of professionals support the “Helpers, Healers, and How-To-Do’ers” navigate the often-bewildering landscape of self-publishing.

It’s not about how well your book sells, it’s ALL about how well your book sells YOU! Use the power of publishing to build your brand and book sales will follow. When you turn your focus OFF of trying to sell books and focus instead on sharing your message and attracting a larger following, more people will learn about you and your book — ultimately leading to more sales.

Author Spotlight - Carin Shulusky

Online event

Carin Fahr Shulusky is a wife, mother, grandmother, and former marketing professional. Not one to take an easy retirement, she published her first book, In the Middle, in 2021. She also contributed a chapter in the anthology, Living Mt tRuth, about the personal legacy and impact of former US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had on her life as a young marketing professional for a Fortune 500 company in the early 1970s.

Her first book, In the Middle, is part fiction and part memoir about being suddenly forced into the role of caregiver to her elderly mother while also having to juggle her already demanding career and family life. Her second book, My Lost Year, is the fictional account of a family facing the upheaval of the 2020 global pandemic.

Make sure to attend her author spotlight to learn more about what inspired her to write her story at the age of 70, and how she was able to successfully tell her story and to continue writing.

“Life inspires me. I write from things I know and see in my own life. My first book, In the Middle, was inspired by my own struggle to care for my beloved mother as her health declined. My chapter of Living my tRuth is my “me too” moment that I’ve waited to tell. My next book, My Lost Year, is a fictional story of the couple navigating the pandemic, but many of the things they’ve experienced come from my own pandemic experiences, or of those close to me.” Carin Fahr Shulusky
