Blockchain 101: An Introduction to Blockchain Technology

Due to the popularity and turnout of our first "Blockchain 101" meet-up, we'll be hosting another presentation on the same topic for anyone that was unable to come out for the first event!

We're sure you've heard the words "blockchain," "bitcoin," and "cryptocurrency" a lot over the last couple years, but what do they actually mean? And more importantly do they matter, and what do they mean for us in both our day to day lives and in the world of business?

In this introductory session, Membran Entertainment Canada's developer Jordan will be answering the big questions of "what is blockchain?" "is it a scam?" and "is it secure?" as well as clarifying and defining what the aforementioned buzz words actually mean.

The presentation will be approximately 45 minutes to an hour, followed by a question and answer period. We'll be providing some light refreshments!
