IoT code workshop featuring a Kafka-enabled race car track

Details

Slot cars on the app store - the traditional slot cars are being replaced by cars with optical sensors, wireless chips and artificial intelligence software, controlled by your smartphone. How great is that?

This is an opening possibility to augment the physical world with real time data driven insights - together with techangelist Meetup. Watch this YouTube video to illustrate the experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QD5v7Fgh3Tk

Together with Meetup TechAngelist - Oracle and Sysco present an IoT code workshop featuring a Kafka-enabled race car track, piloted by smartphone devices. The workshop will provide important insights and the tangible benefits of a use case about how real time monitoring enables smart infrastructure to function better
based on IoT. We will discuss the different levels’ platforms may enable open source implementation through cloud deployment.

As a participant, you will be actively involved in the demonstration.

agenda:
17:00-17:50 Driving cars, mingling with Pizza
17:50-18:10 IoT monitoring - how is it used in the demo?
18:10-18:30 Kafka - how to implement a real time monitoring?
18:30-18:50 Examples of similar project implementations in Norway by Sysco/Oracle
18:50-19:00 Q&A
