Tell us a little about yourself.

I have been into scifi & fantasy since I was a kid starting when my older sister took 8 year old me with her when she saw 'Alien' (still terrified of it and fascinated by the whole xenomorph thing) and, of course, Star Wars. Around 6th grade I started reading The Hobbit & LoTR and have never looked back. I just finished the 5th book in "A Song of Ice and Fire" and am a huge fan of the HBO series.

What's your favorite sci-fi novel?

I have mostly been reading fantasy lately and I really enjoy the cheesy thrills of books from the "Aliens" series. I would be interested at trying out some of the newer authors like Cherie Priest (steam punk genre cowboys & zombies!).

Anything else?

I am on again - off again with reading. I tend to latch onto a single author at a time, read all, and then not read for a few months or years until I find another author. Obsessed with aSoIaF, anything George Martin really, and Robert Heinlein.
