Chu Shong Tin Wing Chun

What do you practice? 

We train the Chu Shong Tin method of Wing Chun. Chu Shong Tin was renowned for being able to issue tremendous power using virtually no muscle (see first link below which is a youtube clip of him). The focus of this method is learning how to stand, issuing force effortlessly,  learning how to relax joints and learn how force works. This method is incredibly profound and has many levels of depth. 

What do sessions look like? 

We will do some standing meditation (called  "Nim Tao" practice), structure testing, forms and chi sao (sticky hands practice with a partner). See youtube links below to get a sense of what we do and how we practice.

See the youtube clips below. If this sort of thing excites you as much as it does me, then these classes are definitely for you. 

PLEASE NOTE: Besides RSPVing, please text or email me on the day so that I can provide the location. 

What are your practice times? 

Monday: 6:30 - 9:30 

Wednesday 6:30 - 9:30

Friday: 5:30 - 7:30 

Saturday 10:00 am to 12:00pm  

Saturday 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm  

How much are sessions? 

First lesson is free. Thereafter the cost is $15 per lesson. $50 concession card (4 lessons). $100 concession card (10 sessions). 

Where is the location?

East Auckland, Greenlane and St Johns. Exact location to be disclosed when you text or email me on the day of the session.
