Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) 101

Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) in Mission Bay. It’s a fun and pretty easy activity. All levels are welcome. If you haven’t tried it, this is your chance!
We’ll rent boards from a surf shop in Mission Bay and walk to the bay. I’ll give a lesson covers positions, how to paddle and safety. We’ll have the boards for up to 4 hours. Plenty of time.
You don’t have to know how to swim. Life jackets are provided.

What to wear: swimwear and rash guard. T-Shirt is OK too. Bring a hat. If you wear eyeglasses or sunglasses, bring a string. If you fall into the water, you don’t want to lose your glasses!

Cost: $25 per board
I’ll send instructions how to pay closer to the event.
(If people would like to share a board, that's fine, but you need to pair up and let me know).

Parking: Santa Clara Point (From Mission Blvd turn east. There is a parking lot at the end).
I recommend to get there early. Parking may be tough.
