Introduction to Tabnapping

Please text 604-719-2651 to get into the building.

Location directions: This is a new high-rise building that is built on the side of the Rogers Arena. This is the last building along Georgia street, before it turns into the overpass. Start at Beatty and Georgia North East corner, and walk East toward the building. (Please enter from the Georgia overpass level (main entrance), not the entrance under overpass).

Meeting Format:

1. Introductions (15 min)
2. Presentation: Explanation of basic concepts: phishing, popups, tabs, link attributes (can be skipped if everyone knows this.)
3. Presentation: The tabnapping window.opener example (20min)
4. Google's response -- open discussion (10min)
5. Presentation: Tabnapping in reverse (15min)
6. Open discussion (10min)
7. Presentation about "iframe sandbox" if time permits (20min)
8. Open discussion until the end of the meeting (minimum 30min)

After the meetup: if there is any interest we can go for pizza or coffee.
