#Talks:
Ken Munro, Pen Test Partners
"Telematics, tracking, and tormented souls"
Tracking may be a buzzword at the moment, but over the last 4 years we have been keen investigators of the enabling technologies and sometimes shambolic implementations. Trust, privacy, and ‘what are they really doing with my data’ have proven to be genuine and serious concerns, so what can should manufacturers and users be doing?
From apps that allow tracking and sharing of location data on mobile devices, and even adult toys (yes, really) this session will explore and explain, with demos, what the usual points of failure are (shared platforms, unscrupulous vendors), and how they could be avoided. Finally we’ll touch on the telematics research we did on the NHS tracking app for the BBC.

“What is the new working normal”.
Over the last few months the working environment has been flipped on its head with many companies now offering 100% remote working. I’ll be using real life examples from our clients and discussing how this period has transformed their working arrangements, the challenges they have faced and how they’re going to implement new working strategies and overcome these challenges moving forward.
