About the panelists

• Jenny Fielding, Managing Director of Techstars and General Partner at The Fund - Jenny Fielding is the Managing Director of Techstars New York where she leads the program. She is also the founder and General Partner at The Fund, a first check fund investing exclusively in New York based companies. Her portfolio includes more than 110+ tech enabled companies. Previously, Jenny headed up Corporate Venture and Digital Innovation at BBC Worldwide where she made strategic investments and led business development deals. She has also started several tech companies, most notably Switch-Mobile, a mobile VoIP company that was acquired in 2009.

• Brian Harwitt, Vice President at CoVenture - Brian is a Principal on CoVenture's Credit Opportunities business, where he has invested in the equity and debt of fintech companies for the past three years. Prior to working at CoVenture, Brian was in the Investment Banking Division of Guggenheim Partners, focusing on Healthcare Life Sciences M&A. Brian graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell studying Finance and East Asian Studies.

• Charlie O’Donnell, Founder & Managing Partner of Brooklyn Bridge Ventures - Charlie O'Donnell has been an active member of the NYC startup community for over 15 years, with a reputation of being the most accessible early stage investor in New York. After being hired as the first analyst at Union Square Ventures and helping to open First Round Capital's first NYC office, he founded Brooklyn Bridge Ventures in 2012. Brooklyn Bridge Ventures has made over 60 investments since it was founded, making it one of the most active funds investing in pre-seed and seed rounds in the city. It often leads or co-leads, investing in a wide variety of startups founded by a diverse pool of founders including The Wing, Petal, Clubhouse, Hungryroot, Ample Hills Creamery, Canary, goTenna and Imagen, among others. The fund was the first to be launched in Brooklyn--where he was born and raised.
