What we’re about
We're the Inventors Network KY - Lexington, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping inventors, entrepreneurs, innovators and other creative people through education, networking and empowerment. We meet on the 1st and 2nd Tuesdays of each month.
On the 1st Tuesday of each month, we have our Free Open Meeting. This meeting is just what it sounds like: free and open to anyone. In this meeting, we host a variety of speakers throughout the year; experts in their fields that talk about topics that range from how to protect your idea to how to build a prototype to how to market your product(s), and more. We also have time to network, learn, and just have fun with it.
Our meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month is a different animal altogether. We call this meeting our Inventors Workshop, and it's for Members only. In the Workshop, we all work under a confidentiality agreement, which means what we talk about at the Inventors Workshop stays at the Inventors Workshop. Everyone gets an opportunity to talk about their invention/product/business, where you are and/or where you're stuck. At the Workshop, you don't just get one person's input, you get a whole room of people with expertise, experience, and angles of approach that you may not have seen otherwise. Think of it as a brain-storming session on steroids. Non a member? You can still come and join us: Membership is only $40/year.
