Come join us for this Meetup event on "Prototyping Your Invention." Eric will share a brief overview of the prototyping process and then we will hear from our guest speaker, Steve Goldstein.

Steve Goldstein is a product designer, fabricator and inventor named on 19 patents. In addition to his own product development, Steve spent a total of ten years as Director of Entertainment Technology at Disney Imagineering and Sony Retail Entertainment. His products have been sold worldwide, and in national chains such as, Walmart, Costco, Radio Shack, The Sharper Image and others.

Steve prototypes many of his creations at a nearby hackerspace called, Crashspace ( of Culver City. Most hacker/makerspaces have various prototyping tools like, laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC mills, vacuum formers and conventional shop tools. Classes on how to operate the equipment may also be offered. There are always friendly people around to help out the newbies.
