๐ Windows Mixed Reality, what does it feel like? - Jonathan Schipper ๐
When the first VR devices emerged, the obvious target audience was gamers. Next, we have seen some very impressive use cases for education, such as virtual guided tours. But how do our every-day apps such as email, web browser, calendar, etc. translate to VR? What does a VR "Desktop" feel like?
In this short session, you will get a glimpse to see Microsoft's take on this. we'll analyze how Windows Mixed Reality experience world was architected, trying to bring our desktop and traditional apps to life in the 3-dimensional world of Virtual Reality.
๐พ Meet WebVR and A-Frame & Let's build a VR game together - Adi Polak and Uri Shaked ๐พ
WebVR is an emerging standard that enables web developers building Virtual Reality experiences using the familiar technologies we all love - HTML and JavaScript. We will show you how you can create a fun VR game, from scratch, that will run on multiple platforms - Oculus Rift, Google Daydream, Windows Mixed Reality and even on standard phones.
We will live-code everything (with some help from the audience), and then call some brave volunteers to play the game we just created and compete against each other. Who wins?
๐ฆ From monitor to VR in Unity - Oren De-Panther Weizman ๐ฆ
In this session, we'll show how you can take existing desktop game and adjust it to VR.
We'll also talk about key differences between those experiences.
