What we're about
Group for those interested wireless communication technologies for the Internet of Things (IoT) including LPWAN implementations such LoraWan, SigFox, Weightless, NB-IoT and LTE-M as well as more local systems such as Zigbee and bluetooth. What is LPWAN? Low Power Wide Area Network.
What does the Group cover? Smart cities, industrial/commercial IoT applications, clean air & water, intelligent agriculture, and related technologies including data aggregation, data science, data visualization. Members can bring their own perspectives on the scope of technologies to be explored.
Group's goal is learning and sharing. So, if you're coy about sharing and not helping others, the group will not be good match.
Meetups will have short presentations by members on their projects and discussions of the technologies and methods employed. We'll work towards having industry experts also make presentations about real-world applications. So, if you're just getting started with a Raspberry Pi with a Lora HAT or a professional grade Multitech setup, this group is for you.
Meetings are second Tuesday each month. Thanks to sponsorship by Galvanize, we will meet in the Golden Triangle campus in Denver. Drinks and snacks available.
This is not a forum for sales presentations that are just product or service focused. However, solid technology presentations will be welcome.
Declare your interest by joining the group and share your thoughts on the direction to take.
