Opportunities in the 3.5 GHz CBRS Band for IOT Applications

The Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) band offers 150 MHz of spectrum for new private mobile services for enterprises, utilities, and smart cities. In this webinar, CBRS Alliance Executive Director Alan Ewing will discuss how this spectrum is becoming available via OnGo™ technology, the unique three-tiered spectrum sharing model, and describe how businesses across vertical markets can benefit. You’ll gain knowledge about how to deploy a private mobile network using OnGo, get the latest update on timing for commercial availability of the service, and receive guidance on how to incorporate OnGo into your connectivity roadmap.

Alan Ewing (https://www.linkedin.com/in/alan-ewing/ ), is the Executive Director of the CBRS Alliance, an industry consortium of nearly 140 wireless industry ecosystem om organizations who believe that LTE-based solutions in the 3.5 GHz band, utilizing shared spectrum, can enable both in-building and outdoor coverage and capacity expansion at massive scale. Alan has over 25 years working in telecom and technology standardization with nearly 15 years of that time at Nokia.

• is a monthly meeting of Internet of Things (IoT) technologists, business execs and entrepreneurs. These folks represent all aspects of the IoT ecosystem from end device/sensor makers and edge computing experts to connectivity gurus (both wireless and wired) as well as backend specialists with expertise in computers, cloud, analytic tools, artificial intelligence plus system designers/architects and system integrators, etc.

We've been getting together monthly for 5 years now. We share ideas, learn about new technologies and approaches to IoT, and find resources and talent in this community that can help us build our IoT companies and solutions.

Our meetings officially start at 7:40 with 30-second introductions from each attendee and officially ends at 9 am (9:10 or so if we run over a little). However, some folks get there at 7 am when the doors open and some stay until 10 or 10:30 networking and collaborating with other IoT professionals. We have a different speaker and topic each month.
