Forum: The Philosophy of Humanism

How will YOU use the hour you get back this weekend?

Lyle Simpson, former Executive Director of the American Humanist Association, will be presenting a forum "The Philosophy of Humanism" at 9:15am and repeating again at 11am in Channing Hall. All are invited to the presentation by Lyle on the philosophy of humanism: what defines a humanist, how we determine what's true, what it means to be a humanist, and what is our purpose for our own lives.

This will be step one on the road to earning the official designation from the UUHumanists organization as a Freethinker-Friendly Congregation.

The presentation is open to all. Atheists, agnostics, and freethinkers as well as humanists are encouraged to attend.
