What we’re about
Hi! We're a group of 30 somethings and we have a partial team already formed for slow-pitch softball. We've played before and like to have a relaxed time. We usually play in the lowest skill level league or the next one up. We're looking for anyone interested in playing a co-ed sport who can throw and catch a ball and is not going to be angry if we don't win every game. : ) And if you are interested in pitching we have an opening for that position as well.
Games are Sunday afternoons/evenings and the season starts in late April or May(it's not been posted yet online) and registration is usually about $30-35 depending on how many people we get for the team (If you don't live in Iowa City, the city charges an extra $5). This is in the Iowa City league through the Iowa City Rec Center which holds its games at the Hawkeye Softball Complex (corner of 1st Avenue and Hwy 6 in Coralville).
