What we’re about
Hello! This is a group for anyone interested in chess. All skills levels are welcome. I started this group to meet other chess enthusiasts who are looking to socialize/play/learn with other chess players, but don't want to join a typical chess club.
Who it's for:
•New Players and Beginners. If you'd like to learn how to play or want to bring someone to learn how to play, that's fine too!
• Intermediate/Advanced players. If you are an intermediate to advanced chess player, you can also benefit from this meetup. (The organizer's rating is around 2000)
Type of Chess: We play both un-timed and timed (blitz, bullet) games, as well as the occasional chess variant (bughouse, 4-player chess, etc.)
Time: Every Thursday, 6:30pm - 9pm
We will have chess boards available and open to everyone, but feel free bring your own.
