Are you a debate master? Are you for or against or just on the fence? All viewpoints are welcome - so grab a drink and come along to Bar74 Ryde.

Join us at a brand new monthly debate group in Ryde as you set the record straight on different subjects. From whether LGBTQ+ Pride is still needed to 'Can we talk about this?'. Themes will vary and are decided at the end of every session. This is put to a vote.

Two people will present opposing viewpoints with questions after from the audience. Each person will have the right to respond with a final vote to decide who won the debate.

The theme of the next debate is ‘Can we talk about this?’ Where we explore whether any topics are ‘off limits’ for a debate.

In this day and age of instant communication online via social media, it's easier than ever to like, love or dislike someone's post. Instantly what you say or do is under a microscope, yet the ability to challenge viewpoints has become more challenging. Whether you're talking about something controversial or a local news story that hits a nerve, do we as individuals have to right to talk about it.

Two people will present opposing views on this subject with the audience voting on one at the end.
