Award winning Interaction Design
Details
Tickets will be released on Wednesday 23 August at 12:00pm.
What is Interaction Design anyway? That's one of the questions we wanted to answer with our IxDA London events. The IxDA awards (http://awards.ixda.org/) is another initiative that helps define what is a moving target and celebrate people's work in this space.
London has had many great award submissions over the years, with Wayfindr from ustwo (http://awards.ixda.org/entry/2016/wayfindr-independent-travel-for-blind-people/) clearing up in 2016. We're keen to encourage more winners and recognition of the work we do in this fair city. So, if you're thinking you have an interesting project that you'd like to promote and get recognition for, pop us a line and we'll try to hold a space for you.
For those that want to learn more about what leaders in the industry think is award winning Interaction Design, we'll also be showing some of the previous winners and runners up over the years and discuss these.
Either way, as usual, there should be lots of inspiration and interesting discussion,
Oh yeh, and we're returning back to our old home at EY-Seren which we're very excited about.
Refunds: We only refund tickets if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance or check in with us at the event and stay to the end. We don't do this to make money (we get nothing for ourselves) but to be fair to the people that want to participate and engage in the sessions throughout the whole evening.
Waitlists: Meetup only allows members to flag "I want a ticket" for paid events. FYI, we don't manage waitlists — instead, we direct people to trade tickets directly in the discussions section in the event meetup page (just scroll down). That's the best way of getting a ticket if you weren't able to get one first hand.
