We have some excellent topics and speakers for the day already with even more to be confirmed.

Please note that we have set a higher ticket price of £50 for this event to ensure attendance and that those that really want to come can. Our intention as always is to ensure the best crowd for the best discussion, not make money. So if you attend and stay, we will refund you back £50.

IxDA LONDON’S PARTICIPATION AND VISION
We're hosting a one-day event on 25 Sept as part of World Interaction Design Day. We'll be bringing together a group of passionate practitioners, leaders and advocates to advance the discipline of interaction design through a series of presentations, workshops and most importantly, critical discussions and meaningful dialogue.

We aim to address the “Diversity and Inclusion in Design” theme by curating our programming around the rich diversity of the human condition, believing that this is a foundational perspective that informs all design work impacting us all as a species.

We believe that design practitioners represent a centre ground between, on one end — organisations, power sources, and large-scale systems — and on the other extreme — the vulnerable, poorly represented, and fringe members of society-at-large. To make the right decisions in our position of influence, we need the right tools, knowledge and worldviews to effectively address the breadth of human diversity.
Thus, we hope that this event will help us achieve that.

World Interaction Design Day is where we come together as a united global community to show how interaction design improves the human condition.

Our aim is to have a positive, long-lasting impact by facilitating activities that support dialogue and outcomes.
