The themes that emerged from this year's conference include:

• surveillance capitalism
• diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging
• limits (or perils) to growth
• (more) things that don't fit with the status quo

What does this have to do with interaction design?
We're still figuring that out.

Our evening will be primarily discussion based, and we'll be touching on topics ranging from general reflections from the conference, key themes, the state of design, behind the scenes, and a special surprise at the end (wink wink).

We've asked / persuaded / begged a few attendees from the conference to be part of the convo, so you'll be assured it isn't just Jason and Boon talking the whole evening.
