After the positive feedback from February's hands-on workshop, we're excited to welcome Lalya Gaye from Attaya Projects (http://www.attayaprojects.com/) to our IxDA community to host a projection mapping workshop.
You'll need to be quick as there are limited places! RSVPs open 22/03/17. Attendees will be refunded.
In this workshop, you will learn some of the basics of projection mapping and work in groups to project on simple, everyday objects.
Please bring objects with you to the workshop, preferably ones with simple shapes and non-shiny surfaces.
Lalya Gaye is an artist, designer and engineer based in Newcastle where she runs the collaborative digital media art practice Attaya Projects.
Lalya builds interactive art installations, provides consulting in interaction design and digital technology, and delivers creative electronics workshops. She works primarily with sound, light, metal, interactive technologies, and urban space.

18:15 Workshop starts
This session will be approximately 2 hours long, with a break for pizza and drinks in between.
Let us know if you have any dietary requirements you'd like us to adhere to.
RSVPs open on Wednesday 22nd March at 10AM, with a limited number of 15 places. There will be a waiting list in case any attendees are unable to make it.
We have decided to charge a small refundable fee of £3 for this workshop. Everyone who RSVPs 'yes' and attends the session will be reimbursed shortly after. We have introduced this so the workshop can run at full capacity, making it a more valuable experience for everyone involved.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!
