Modern design practice, ie all things UX, User research, Usability, Usability testing, IxD, Product design etc etc, this community knows what that’s all about and how to conduct it the right way.

But, the key part of any business, proposition or ‘buy-in’ to best practice and design being an important part of any project is something that has to be ‘Sold’ to the clients and businesses across the world who actually own the products the user uses.

So how then do we position this kind of design in the marketplace, a place where budgets, deadlines and bottom line profit are the key considerations for most. Ultimately meaning, as you’ll all know, design easily takes a back seat, Accessibility is just glossed over and testing, pfft that’s a luxury.

In this event we have a chat with the people who are on that front line, pitching, selling and overall evangelising to those companies why design is so important and guiding them to both commit and follow through with ‘the right way‘ of doing. If possible……
